It was a long time ago, but in the summer of 1998, I experienced the first flogging experience in my life in Delta, California, USA. I used a tournament frog to teach the basics of frogging to a friend who was also a professional staff of Snag proof.

It was a shocking event for me. It's no exaggeration to say that this moment has drastically changed my life. After returning to Japan, I threw tournament frogs. The more I threw, the more I got into this fishing. At the same time, there was no Japanese frog with a double hook on the market at that time, and I was strongly disappointed with the hooking rate, so I thought that I should be able to have a better frog.

After that, I became involved in the development of the Smoog Frog released in 2001. At the Bassmaster Western Invitational held in California Delta in 2001, he also succeeded in limiting make only with the Smoog frog. We also presented the Sumo Frog to the top Western tournament mentors at the time. One of them, Dean Rojas, won the top prize in 2004 with the Smoufrog at the Bassmaster Classic, after which his signature model, Bronze Eye Frog, will appear.
